Second phase of teaching practice❤️

Day 1

It was my first experience as a teacher in St. Johns HSS, Nalanchira. I had reached the campus at 8:50 am, marked the attendance. The classes started with a morning prayer and pledge at 9:30 sm. I had one period at 11:50 am to 12:30pm in 8A and had already prepated lesson plan with teaching aids. I took class in 8 th std and described about the topic " compound microscope" and showed them the real one and made them familiar with other parts like glass slide, cover slip, stain etc.. Students were very excited and paid attention well. Then i got substitution in 9 B where i taught the topic biomolecules and interacted with students. Then on afternoon i again got a substitution in 9 C which was my class so i started the chapter" A life Process" taught them the topic biomolecules and metabolism. The class was a little biy noisy and i had to confront the students and interacted with them. At 3:40 pm i left the campus.

In my 8 th syd class, projector is damaged so proper ICT not possible there.

Reflection in Today I have reached the campus at 9:00 am, marked the attendance and moved to staffroom. I have got a substitution in 9 C in second period and taught them a new concept osmosis and conducted a demo class about the phenomenon. All the students attended the class with curiousity. Feeling much satisfied today. I also had a class in 8 A where I discussed the chapter Life's mysteries in Little Chambers. Left the campus at 3:45pm.  Reflection on  Prepared a lesson plan from 8th standard topic.  Taken chart activity card experiment materials and ICT video   Reflection for  Students responded fastly when concepts were related to daily life activities

 "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall" - Nelson Mandela I have reached the school campus at 8:55 a.m. and marked the attendance. I have decided to conduct a revision test in 9C and prepared some questions (MCQ) from chapter 'digestion and transport of nutrients'. Then I took some models of tooth and digestive system to revise the topics. At the second period in 9C, I conducted the test paper and then discussed the answers with them. Then I showed them models and describe its structure and function in detail. They answered the question and observed the models carefully. Then I collected the feedback from them and wished them good luck for their bright future. Then I had my lunch and some students of the school came and give us feedback and some gifts.
